Visitors and audience members
The Festival Venues are a short walk from the main bus routes through Hazel Grove and another short walk from the rail station (although this will amount to around a 15 minute walk between Windsor Road and the station). There is limited parking on-site at the Methodist Church and we ask that this is reserved for visitors with restricted mobility.
There are other pay & display car parks situated around the village, but otherwise, parking is on residential streets. Please leave plenty of time and be mindful of our neighbours, particularly around Windsor Road.
Admission to Classes is by ticket only. Competitors will have received an entry ticket from their Competitors’ Secretary. All other visitors, supporters, parents and audience members will need to buy a ticket on the door (Cash only).
For Choral Day on Saturday 12th October, there is often high demand for tickets, particularly for the Choral Recital Class, while our capacity is very strictly limited.
There will be a combined ticket for Classes 401 & 402, Junior and Youth Ensembles, charged at £2.00.
Entry tickets to Class 403 Vocal Ensemble will also cost £2.00.
The Choral Recital Class tickets will be charged at £5.00 each.
For all of the Classes taking place on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th, Universal entry tickets can be purchased for morning or afternoon sessions at £2.00 each (or an all day ticket for £4.00).
We ask that competitors bring any water and refreshments with them. However, there will be some snacks and hot drinks available to purchase at points during the course of the day. While we will endeavour to open the café as much as possible, it will still operate fairly limited opening hours.
Please bring cash to pay for tickets and refreshments as we are not yet able to accept card payments.
