Extension of the entry deadline

A big thank you to everyone who has already submitted their entries for this year’s Festival.

We understand that this is a very busy point in the year for many of you, and we have had many requests for additional time for submissions.  So, with this in mind, we have decided to push back the closing date for entries until Monday 18th August. 

Autumn still seems a long way off, and it is difficult for many of you to say with certainty, which pieces you will have ready to perform on the day. At this point, we are more concerned with numbers than specific details of performances, as we try to hire pianos, book space and officials, and work out how many volunteers we will need.

So, if you have not yet quite decided on repertoire, you may still enter, without confirming your final choices. You will need to keep in close touch with your Competitors’ Secretary, to make sure that we have all the details and copy, in good time for the Programme to be printed.

We will update the website and our social media as any classes become fully subscribed.

So, apply early to avoid disappointment!
